10 | 10 | 2020 GP Eifel Charles Leclerc was in sparkling form in qualifying for the first Eifel Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. The cars only took to the track for the first time this weekend in the morning, after all of Friday’s running time was cancelled because of bad weather. The Monegasque produced an almost perfect lap to go fourth fastest, equalling his best result of the season so far, from the first of the two races at Silverstone. He thus starts from the second row in his number 16 SF1000. Sebastian Vettel did not fare so well and was the quickest of those to fail to make the cut to Q3 and will therefore start from eleventh, on the sixth row. But at least he gets a free tyre choice for the start, unlike those ahead, who all have to use the Soft compound tyre.

09 | 10 | 2020 GP Eifel There was no track action on this Friday at the very first Formula 1 Eifel Grand Prix. Since yesterday, the Nürburgring has been shrouded in fog and clouds with rain falling constantly in the Eifel mountains. Visibility was too poor for the medical helicopter to fly, so that the pit lane exit remained closed for both of today’s free practice sessions.

08 | 10 | 2020 GP Eifel Less than 10 degrees, with wind and rain: that’s what the Nürburgring had to offer the Formula 1 world as it prepared to tackle the first ever Eifel Grand Prix in a setting it last visited seven years ago. For Charles Leclerc this will be his first encounter with the track in a Formula 1 car and he and Sebastian Vettel braved the cold to do the track walk to get a close look at its features.

26 | 09 | 2020 GP Russland / GP Russia Qualifying at the Sochi Autodrom for the Russian Grand Prix did not go well for Scuderia Ferrari. When the race gets underway tomorrow at 14.10 local time (13.10 CET), Charles Leclerc will start from 11th on the grid and Sebastian Vettel from 15th.
