“With V5 Projects, I want to encourage people to think about our future – what we want to preserve and what we can do better. The environment is an issue that affects us all, and we’ve reached a point where every contribution matters. For me, it’s about raising awareness on important issues, developing ideas together, and finding ways to make progress step by step. When we start paying attention and have the courage to try new things – that’s when lasting change begins.”

Today, I learnt a lot about porpoises and had the opportunity to meet scientists at the Ozeaneum in Stralsund who are committed to protecting the Baltic Sea and the porpoises that still live there. It touched me to see how little we know about our only native whale – and how quietly it is disappearing from the Baltic Sea. Porpoises are not only incredibly sensitive animals, but they are also part of us, our nature and our history. It would be a great loss if one day we had to say, ‘They no longer exist.’

about
Sebastian Vettel’s love for racing began long before he ever sat in a Formula 1 car. At just three years old, he was already racing around his family’s yard in a kart. From early victories in German karting to breaking records in Formula BMW, Sebastian’s path to Formula 1 felt almost inevitable. His first Grand Prix win came with Toro Rosso in 2008 – a historic moment that made him the youngest race winner at the time. What followed was a golden era with Red Bull Racing, where he became a four-time world champion. In 2015, Sebastian raced for Ferrari, chasing the dream of returning the team to the top. He celebrated several victories and podiums, but the long-awaited title ultimately remained out of reach. He later continued his journey with Aston Martin, helping to build a young team while using his platform to raise awareness for issues beyond racing. Known for his sharp mind and honest character, he’s always brought a thoughtful, human touch to the high-octane world of racing. In recent years, his focus has shifted beyond the track – towards environmental causes, social equality, and time with his family. He jokes that they won’t let him race anymore, but in truth, he’s simply found a new direction – driven by the same passion and purpose that made him a champion.
