Sebastian Vettel returns to Saudi Arabia for #RACE4WOMEN [CHALLENGE ME]

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – April 15–16, 2025 – Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel leads the return of #RACE4WOMEN [CHALLENGE ME] to The Track Jeddah, transforming motorsport by championing women’s participation and empowerment.
The two-day event united partners including The Track Jeddah, MDLBEAST Radio, and Sparco to build on a movement that has grown from a modest karting meet-up in 2021 to a comprehensive program with a dedicated racing academy and The Ladies Cup, which attracted over 150 female participants in 2024. Future Ladies Cup events are planned, with organizers expecting increased participation following this high-profile two-day showcase.
Located north of Jeddah, The Track Jeddah is a multipurpose racing circuit designed to promote motorsport culture and provide a controlled environment for enthusiasts. With a focus on grassroots development, its karting academy guides aspiring drivers from their first laps to professional-level competition and potential Formula 4 careers.
This year’s [CHALLENGE ME] edition combines training, media coaching, sim racing, and competitive heats with the goal of preparing Saudi women for international competition.
“Since launching #RACE4WOMEN in 2021, we’ve seen a significant increase in female participation and empowerment in motorsport,” said Vettel. “Our mission in 2025 is to build on this – to inspire positive change and develop grassroots motorsport for women in Saudi Arabia.”
Twenty young female racers participated, equipped with professional gear from Sparco, while MDLBEAST Radio broadcast live across major Saudi cities. Saudi rally driver Dania Akeel joined to mentor the next generation, with Lina Hammadeh (18), Tima Mokhtar (17), and Enas Hamzah (30) emerging as this year’s champions.
The event was elevated by notable industry figures including Delphine Biscaye, Tina Hausmann (Aston Martin), Alisha Palmowski (Red Bull Racing), Rafaela Ferreria (VCARB), and Chloe Chambers (Red Bull Ford).
The movement extended beyond physical participation – women worldwide joined virtually by wearing white #RACE4WOMEN T-shirts and sharing on social media, creating global solidarity.
#RACE4WOMEN [CHALLENGE ME] focuses on creating role models and opportunities throughout the motorsport ecosystem, from karting circuits in Saudi Arabia to apprenticeships in European team garages.

It’s a movement that has only just begun.
