Szia from Hungary!
The best thing about back to back race is you get to focus even more closely on the job in hand. I’ve thought long and hard about what happened in Germany last week, but I try to not let the past affect the present too much.
We lost a lot of points due to my penalty after the race ¬it’s a shame but we can’t change the decision.
Shit happens, so we just have to be sure we keep on track and concentrate on the road ahead. This weekend means a new and fresh start.
I don’t think anyone will be surprised to hear that Fernando is still the man to beat, but I’m not ready to hit the panic button just yet. But if this season has taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected and I’m sure we can expect a few surprises at the Hungaroring. The most important thing is to keep focusing on our own performance as a team.
I am really looking forward to Sunday’s race because I want to prove how strong we are, both on and off track. When everybody pulls together, nothing can go wrong.
Talk to you on Saturday!
Seb
