The last few days have been really busy. Last Saturday, we were driving at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, on Wednesday I went to the Bread&Butter in Berlin and now we're in Silverstone.

I love this track, mostly because you can really feel the history of motorsports. It's a great advantage that our factory in Milton Keynes is pretty close, which allows the guys and girls who work there to come and see us race. That's a lot of extra motivation because we want to say thank you for all their hard work, preferably with a good result.

The fans are also really special. I'd say that they're not only some of the most passionate, but also the fairest fans in the world. Of course they root for their own drivers, but they always show their appreciation for other drivers. And their passion seems to know no limits – so we all love coming back here.

I'm really positive about the weekend. I really like this track and I'm feeling more and more comfortable in the car. Despite the retirement in Valencia, I'm sure we've made a huge step into the right direction.

I also want to send the a big "Thank you!" to everyone who's supported the "Faces for Charity" campaign for Wings for Life. You've helped fund vital research into making spinal injuries curable. Mark and I are very happy and proud to drive these special cars covered with all of your pictures. It's a real honour and we appreciate every single one of you.

All the best,

Seb
